Effective Management: the Nuts and Bolts is designed for anyone who manages people, and those aspiring towards management. The all-encompassing workshop integrates employment law, leadership issues, how to work through conflict, and how to coach employees for high-performance.

The Truth About Customer Service workshop is designed for anyone who interacts with customers. The workshop integrates what genuine customer care is, listening skills, communication styles, and how to work through conflict.

The HR Fundamentals Workshop is great for HR professionals just getting started in their careers and non-HR professionals who are responsible for HR functions. The workshop covers employment laws; HR policies and practices; and recruiting, selecting, and retaining the best employees.

 

 

 The two- day Effective Management: the Nuts and Bolts workshop is designed for small business owners, new and developing managers, and those aspiring towards management. This all-encompassing workshop integrates employment law, leadership issues, how to work through conflict, and how to coach employees for high-performance – all things that challenge managers on a daily basis. If you only take one workshop – this is the one for you!

  • What constitutes harassment and what to do should you receive a complaint.
  • Preventing discrimination in your company.
  • Questions you can and can not ask in an interview.
  • What the difference is between management and leadership.

  • Mediation techniques, both between two employees and within teams.
  • Listening techniques and tips to build rapport.
  • How to provide feedback and develop and coach employees.
  • Setting expectations and monitoring performance.
  • How to effectively and fairly manage out and/or develop poor performers through coaching, counseling and development.
  • Tools you can use for your employee performance and development.
  • Techniques to help you start a dialogue with your employees.

We offer two options for Effective Management: the Nuts and Bolts workshop. You can come to us and take one of our Public Workshops. Or, we’ll tailor it for you and bring the Onsite Workshop to you.

Onsite Workshop Details

If you’d like us to bring the Effective Management: the Nuts and Bolts workshop to you:

  • We’ll come to your location, wherever you are.
  • We do everything we can to accommodate your schedule and work-shift requirements. We are available to facilitate training Monday through Friday, both days and nights. We are also available weekends – however, there will be an additional fee for weekend workshops.
  • We can either facilitate the program over two 8-hours sessions or four 4-hour sessions.
